Banana Roller (Spreader Roller) for Blown Film Lines

Our banana rollers (spreader rollers) are designed to eliminate wrinkles and provide perfect film spreading performance on blown film and plastic extrusion lines. They can operate smoothly at speeds up to 150 m/min, and when the line speed is higher, the roller can be motor-driven (gear reducer option) to match the machine speed.

Thanks to its optimized curvature design, the banana roller provides excellent spreading between 30° and 120°, delivering high efficiency especially in multi-slit and multi-layer film applications. It successfully opens and stabilizes films thicker than 15 µm, ensuring a smooth web path and preventing film folding and air pockets.

We manufacture banana rollers in Ø75 / Ø100 / Ø120 / Ø150 mm as standard, and custom diameters or lengths can be produced upon request. Available in manual or gear-driven (reducer type) configurations. In the reducer model, the angle can be adjusted easily using the positioning mechanism.

The bending curvature is set during manufacturing according to customer requirements to provide the correct spreading force and high-performance web guiding.
